When we launched The Bond Condominiums, in the heart of the Entertainment District, we knew it was more than just a community. It is a connection, a lifestyle, a state of mind. It is urban expressionism. So how do you demonstrate urban expressionism, something so varied and widely interpreted? Ask the public to define it through design!
Last month, we ran a contest: Design An Ad For The Bond that resonated with the young, urban, creative community. We asked the public to design an advertisement that expressed how they connected with the essence of The Bond. How do you envision downtown living? Are you inspired by the city’s celebrated culture? What does cutting-edge urban design and style mean to you?
Not only did we want the public’s vision, we also wanted the public’s vote! We asked the public to help us choose the winner by ‘liking’ their favourite design in our Facebook album. The design submission with the most ‘likes’ on Facebook would be selected as the winner! What was the prize? An iPad2 and have your work featured in our marketing campaign for The Bond!

Because it was hard to choose just one design and based on the public’s vote, we declared a 2nd place winner! Congratulations to Prashanna Vivekananda from Pickering, Ontario whose design won him a $250 gift card to Apple!
In just over three weeks, we received 21 creative and unique submissions with over 750 votes!
